Prancis - Meski tidak diwajibkan, pemerintah Prancis merekomendasikan untuk kembali mengenakan masker. Hal ini menyusul peningkatan kasus COVID-19 di Prancis.

Kasus virus meningkat dengan cepat di Prancis dan negara-negara Eropa lainnya setelah pembatasan Covid-19 dicabut pada musim semi.

Dengan turis memadati Paris dan kota-kota lain, pemerintah Prancis merekomendasikan untuk kembali mengenakan masker di transportasi umum dan area ramai tetapi tidak memberlakukan aturan baru.

Berdasarkan data yang dirilis pada Selasa, jumlah tes positif melonjak sampai 147.248, 54 persen lebih tinggi daripada pekan sebelumnya. Ini merupakan angka infeksi Covid tertinggi di Prancis sejak akhir April.

Per Selasa, Prancis mencatat sebanyak 15.496 orang dirawat inap di rumah sakit karena Covid, naik dari 14.333 pekan lalu. Dari 15.496 tersebut, 898 dirawat di ICU, naik dari 841 pekan lalu.
