Physical Distancing ala Singapura, Berdekatan Kena Denda Rp 113 Juta

The World Health Organization has warned all governments to be on alert and raised concerns over a possible pandemic. Cegah penyebaran virus corona COVID-19, Singapura memberikan peringatan tegas kepada warganya untuk menjaga jarak satu sama lain atau physical distancing. Bahkan jika ada warga yang ketahuan tak menjaga jarak kurang dari satu meter akan didenda sebanyak Rp 113 juta atau dipenjara selama enam bulan.

Dikutip dari Straits Times, kebijakan ini berlaku untuk segala kegiatan apa pun termasuk saat mengantre atau duduk bersama. Peraturan ini adalah hasil pembaruan Undang-Undang Penyakit Menular yang dibuat oleh otoritas kesehatan Singapura, dan telah berlaku mulai Kamis (26/3/2020) malam.

Pemerintah Singapura juga membatasi warganya yang ingin membuat pertemuan di luar tempat kerja atau sekolah yakni, hanya diperbolehkan maksimal sepuluh orang.

Tak hanya itu, segala macam aktivitas seperti acara olahraga, pameran, bioskop, dan lain-lain juga telah dihentikan sementara untuk membatasi penyebaran virus corona. Rencananya kebijakan ini berlaku hingga 30 April 2020 mendatang.

Diketahui hingga Jumat (27/3/2020), jumlah kasus infeksi virus corona di Singapura sudah mencapai 683 orang dan 2 di antaranya meninggal dunia.
